This is the story….
First bought Cotton Sateen 1200 Thread Count White but found this too heavy and material stiff.
Then bought Cotton Sateen 800 Thread Count White but the colour was off white/light ivory and did not match the 1200 TC white fitted sheet and pillowcases we had bought. Sent these back.
Thankfully the Cotton Sateen 600 TC was white and the perfect luxurious duvet cover to go with our other new linen from Belledorm and our new Tempur mattress and 100% Canadian goose down duvet and pillows.

The duvet cover material has a great feel to it and the Ivory colour is deep rich and creamy, which looks very nice indeed. These covers are very easy to iron, despite the high thread count, so if you are not into ironing, these are the covers to buy. There is a major difference in colour between Egyptian Sateen Ivory and Sateen Ivory, so mix and match is not an option, which is why I've now purchased matching sheets and pillowcases.
