Base wraps cover a divan bed base in minutes with an elasticated, Velcro-fastened fabric panel. Headboard wraps fit over an existing headboard to change its look without re-upholstery. Bedspreads sit on top of the finished bed as a decorative covering. Bed runners and scarves add a stripe of colour or texture across the foot of the bed. The fastest way is to cover the parts you can see. A divan base wrap covers a worn or dated bed base in faux suede or jersey fabric - it fits in under five minutes with no tools. A headboard wrap slides over the front of an existing headboard and is held in place by an elasticated back panel. Together, a base wrap and headboard wrap can transform the appearance of a bed for a fraction of the cost of a new bed frame or headboard. A bed runner is a narrow strip of fabric that sits across the foot of the bed on top of the duvet or bedspread. It adds a band of colour, texture, or pattern without covering the full bed surface. Bed runners are a styling detail borrowed from hotel bedrooms - they break up a plain duvet cover and give the bed a more finished, dressed look. Some cushion designs also coordinate with specific duvet cover sets - the product pages indicate which sets have matching cushions available. For bedspreads, Belledorm offers quilted, embroidered, and jacquard designs that complement both plain and patterned bedding.
Base wraps are sized to match your divan bed base: single, small double, double, king, and super king. Measure the base itself, not the mattress, to confirm the correct size. For split divan bases (common in king and super king), you may need two wraps. Headboard wraps are sized by bed width - single, double, king, and super king - and are designed to fit most standard rectangular headboards up to approximately 10cm thick. Check the depth of your headboard before ordering, as very thick or ornately shaped headboards may not be suitable.
It varies by product. Faux suede base wraps and headboard wraps can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle and reshaped while damp. Most bedspreads can be machine washed at 30–40°C depending on the fabric - check the individual care label, as some quilted or heavier designs may need a larger-capacity machine. Bed runners and cushion covers should be checked individually, as some are removable and washable while others are spot-clean only. In all cases, avoid tumble drying on high heat and iron on the reverse side if pressing is needed.
