Is the cotton certified as Egyptian-grown, and under which scheme?
Yes. Our 600 Thread Count Sateen range is made from 100% pure Egyptian cotton, certified under the Cotton Egypt Association's Egyptian Cotton™ licensing scheme, which verifies origin through DNA testing of the fibre. You will find the official Egyptian Cotton™ seal on our packaging. 

Is the fabric made using single-ply yarn?
Yes. The fabric is woven from single-ply yarns throughout, in both warp and weft.

Is the 600 thread count calculated using single-ply yarn?
Yes. Our thread count is the actual number of single yarns per square inch. We do not use multi-ply yarns and then multiply the figure, which is the practice that can make a lower-quality fabric appear to have a higher count. A 600 count of single-ply, long-staple Egyptian cotton is what gives the sateen its smooth, cool handle and its durability over years of washing.

Is the double duvet cover made from the same fabric described on the website?
Yes. Every size in the range, including the double duvet cover and the duvet cover set, is cut from the same 100% Egyptian cotton 600 thread count sateen. There is no variation in fabric between sizes.
