Hotel Milled Duck Feather Pillow Pair

In all honesty, the Milled Duck Feather pillows probably aren't the best match for you. They're well-filled and supportive, but they sit on the firmer side and hold the head at a set height rather than letting you sink in - and if you're sensitive to anything feeling hard against your ear, a firm feather fill can do exactly that.

For lift with a softer, gentler feel, I'd point you to one of these two instead:

The milling process cleans and refines the feathers, removing dust, debris, and the coarser quill material that can harbour allergens. Combined with the tightly woven cotton cover, this significantly reduces the likelihood of an allergic reaction compared to a standard, untreated feather pillow. If you have a severe feather allergy, a synthetic pillow would still be the safer option, but for mild sensitivities the milled fill and cotton casing offer a good level of protection.

They're designed with side and back sleepers in mind. The 1000gsm fill weight gives them enough loft to keep your head aligned with your neck and shoulders when you're sleeping on your side, which is where a lot of thinner pillows fall short. The milled feather fill also has natural resilience, so the pillow springs back rather than going flat overnight.

These are a well-filled, supportive feather pillow, they arrive quite plump and firm out of the packaging. The milled feather filling removes the coarser quills, which gives a smoother feel than a standard feather pillow, but they're not a soft, sinkable pillow. They do settle and soften with use, and you can adjust the loft by plumping or compressing them.
