The skirt on our Hotel Suite 100% Cotton Filled Quilted Mattress Protector is made from polyester, while the quilted top panel is 100% cotton and the fill is 100% cotton throughout. The "100% Cotton Filled" in the name refers specifically to the filling rather than the protector in its entirety.
The polyester skirt is designed purely for practicality , it provides a secure, elasticated fit around your mattress (up to 38cm deep) and holds its shape wash after wash. It won't affect the sleeping surface or the breathability of the quilted cotton top, which is where the comfort and natural feel really count.
We hope that helps you make the right choice. Do feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions.

Feedback on this mattress protector highlights its generally high quality, with many users appreciating the 100% cotton composition and the well-fitting design that accommodates deeper mattresses comfortably. The product is praised for its durability and ease of washing, maintaining shape without noticeable shrinkage. Customers also value the thoughtful quilting thickness, which suits those using additional mattress toppers. However, a few users noted that the protector is thinner than anticipated, which may not meet everyone's expectations for padding. While most reviews reflect satisfaction with the product’s performance and fabric, one return mentioned concerns about quality, indicating that experiences can vary. Overall, the protector is regarded as a reliable and well-made choice, balancing comfort and protection effectively.
I returned it as I did t feel it was very good quality.
The sales representative was very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to order more bedding from Belledorm
Excellent quality. Fits the bed perfectly.
Great quality protector. I bought it primarily for the fact that it was all cotton (including the filling), and this is quite difficult to find for a half decent price. It is well made, and the skirt easily wraps round my 30cm mattress. The quilting is not very thick, but I wanted it to be like that because it has a real wool topper underneath and I wanted to feel the benefit. Great value for money.
Great quality, fit and 100% cotton, exactly what I wanted. Also, washes well, although takes a little longer to dry than polyester filled ones. Website ordering is great too, with quick delivery.
Fits my new mattress perfectly. Good quality would recommend.
