Most of us sleep warmer than we realise. A mattress absorbs body heat through the night and holds onto it, so by the early hours there's nowhere for that warmth to go, and you wake too hot to settle.

Our Cooling Mattress Protector works on the surface, where it matters. The top fabric draws heat away from your skin faster than standard cotton or polyester, which is why it feels genuinely cool the moment you lie down. That cool-to-touch effect has been independently tested and sits within the recognised range for true cooling fabrics, so the freshness you feel is measured, not simply claimed.

The cooling is at its most noticeable as you settle. Through the rest of the night, the open, breathable weave lets warm air escape and wicks moisture away from the surface, so heat and dampness don't build up the way they do under ordinary bedding.

Designed like a fitted sheet, it features fully elasticated edges and a generous 12" (30cm) depth to ensure a secure, smooth fit for mattresses between 7" and 12" deep. Machine washable and easy to care for, it fits effortlessly into busy households and family settings.

A practical layer that doesn’t just protect your mattress, it actively improves how your bed feels.

What our customers say

The product is generally well-received for its silky finish and comfortable fit, with many appreciating its smooth, cool feel and overall quality. Users note that it offers a significant improvement over previous wooden alternatives, highlighting its thickness and softness as key strengths. However, a recurring concern is the very smooth surface, which some find causes sheets to crumple more easily during use. Despite this, the durability and appearance remain positively regarded, with the fabric maintaining its look and feel after washing. Overall, the balance of feedback suggests a product that performs well in comfort and style, though the texture may require some adjustment in handling.

Much better than the wooden product that I had fitted since last year. The only draw back is it’s very smooth surface let’s the sheet crumple up.
