An always-elegant finishing touch for any bed, the platform valance (also known as a base valance) is a decorative ‘skirt’ that drapes over and covers your divan bed base, or bed frame. Perfect for decorating a plain base, or concealing a multitude of storage sins hidden under the bed! A platform valance leaves you free to cover your mattress in whatever fitted sheet you prefer. It’s a particularly ideal option for deeper mattresses.
The Egyptian Cotton 200 Count Platform Valance comes in a range of colours and sizes, and features stylish box pleats. It’s designed with an extra seam to hug your bed base, giving you a perfect fit and corner pleat. The valance drop (the part covering the sides of the bed base/frame) is 41cm (16'') from the edge of your bed.
Machine washable at 40°C. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Tumble dry or drip dry. Use a warm iron. Wash colours separately. Wash before use.

I have bought from Belledorm several times and for the first time I am not thrilled with the quality of the bedding. It is my fault as I ordered 200 thread count and it is flimsy
