Silk is a natural protein fibre with a surface smoother than any cotton weave, regardless of thread count. That smoothness is what produces the benefits silk is known for - less friction against skin and hair, natural temperature regulation, and hypoallergenic properties built into the fibre itself rather than added through chemical treatment.

Belledorm offers two silk ranges. Cocoonzzz is the silk accessories collection - silk pillowcases, eye masks, hair turbans, scrunchies, and headbands designed primarily for hair and skin benefits. These are the most popular starting point for anyone trying silk for the first time. The 100% Mulberry Silk range covers full bed linen - fitted sheets, flat sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases - for dressing the entire bed in silk.

Both ranges use Grade A mulberry silk, the highest classification. Grade A means the fibres are long, strong, and contain almost no impurities, producing a smoother surface and better durability than lower-grade alternatives. For cooler sleep using cotton rather than silk, Belledorm's bamboo and Egyptian cotton percale ranges also offer strong breathability and temperature regulation.
